Recap: Downtown Line 1 Open House
If I missed The Purple Parade event last week, I just attend Downtown Line 1 open house this week.
On 22 December 2013, the new Downtown MRT Line will begin operations by SBS Transit Limited (ComfortDelGro Corporation Ltd, Singapore) with 4 new interchange stations are Bugis, Promenade, Bayfront and Chinatown. Two new stations located in Marina Bay and Kreta Ayer area are Downtown and Telok Ayer. The slogan was created by SBS Transit for the event "Music Through the Years". Any stations of new Downtown MRT Line (except Promenade and Bayfront stations) will be having activities there. From 60's to beyond.
And the reason why is those are giving out each copies to Singaporeans "Downtown Line Times". The news features the introduction of Downtown MRT Line opening 22 December 2013 with first 6 stations. They are Bugis (interchanges with existing East-West MRT Line), Promenade (interchanges with existing Circle MRT Line), Bayfront (same as Promenade), Downtown, Telok Ayer (located under Cross Street) and Chinatown (Downtown MRT Line terminus intil 2017, interchanges with existing North-East MRT Line). Marina Bay Financial Centre is located within 10 minutes walk from the MRT station located under Central Boulevard and under Cross Street there's the MRT station beside a building, where those had their workplace. Next 12 stations was finally opened on 27 December 2015 and the last 16 stations will open in 2017. For more information you may want to read, click here.

A silly ringtone from mrbrown and Mr Miyagi
Well, the article at mrbrown.com I came across, I was impressed. The ringtone of mrbrown and Mr Miyagi duet was impressed.
Until the Downtown MRT Line (stage 1) opens for passenger service, I'll take a free ride starting from Bugis and arriving at Downtown for lunch, and I've never tried the Japanese cuisine for years before.
